Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how PepCadence ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application and subscription service. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

A note on what this document doesn't cover. This Privacy Policy describes our data practices. It does not constitute medical advice, and nothing in the App should be treated as a personal medical recommendation. See the App's separate Terms & Conditions and in-app disclaimers for that distinction.

1. Who we are

PepCadence is operated by PepCadence LLC, a New Hampshire LLC ("Company"). PepCadence is a reference and self-tracking tool — it is not affiliated with, operated by, or a substitute for any healthcare provider. PepCadence is a separate product and brand from Naolux Labs and is not a storefront for any physical product.

If you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, contact us at pepcadence@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect an email address and a password (stored in hashed form, never in plain text). If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the basic profile information that provider shares with us.

Subscription and billing information. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your full credit card number, CVV, or other raw payment card data — that information goes directly to Stripe. We do receive and store limited billing metadata from Stripe, such as your subscription status, billing history, and the last four digits of your payment method, for purposes of managing your account.

Free trial and auto-renewal. New subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and your payment method is charged on a recurring basis at the then-current subscription price. We will send a reminder before your trial ends and before each renewal where required by law. You can cancel at any time before a renewal date through your account settings or by contacting pepcadence@gmail.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.

Usage data you enter into the App. This includes: - Peptides, compounds, doses, and schedules you set up - Dose logs (taken/missed entries and timestamps) - Body weight, sex, activity level, and experience level you enter into the calculator - Any notes you add to your protocol

Automatically collected technical data. Standard device and usage information such as browser type, device type, IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), and basic usage analytics (which screens are used, how often). We use this only to operate, secure, and improve the App — not to build an advertising profile.

We do not collect: government ID numbers, precise GPS location, facial or fingerprint biometric identifiers, or any data beyond what's described above. Body weight, activity level, and other fitness metrics you enter are self-reported figures, not biometric measurements taken by a device or sensor. We do not knowingly collect more than is needed to run the App.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to: - Create and maintain your account and subscription - Process payments and manage billing through Stripe - Operate the core features of the App — dose calculators, reminders, schedules, and logs - Send you service-related communications (billing receipts, trial-ending reminders, password resets) - Maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse - Improve the App based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your dosing or health-related entries with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the App:

Each of these providers is contractually limited to using your information only to provide their service to us, and each maintains its own privacy and security practices. We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of the Company or our users.

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

5. Health information disclaimer

The App allows you to log information related to peptide use, dosing schedules, body metrics, and related notes. This information is self-reported by you and is stored to support the App's tracking and reminder features. It is not reviewed by a medical professional, is not part of any medical record, and is not subject to HIPAA, since the App is not a covered healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse.

If you would prefer this kind of information not be stored at all, you can use the App's reference and calculator features without creating a logged history, or you may delete your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Data storage and security

Your information is stored on servers operated by our hosting and database providers, with industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls limiting who at the Company can view your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account and data remain accessible in a read-only or limited state, depending on your plan, until you request deletion as described in Section 7 — cancellation alone does not delete your data.

Business transfers. If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email or in-app notice if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy as a result.

7. Your rights and choices

You can: - Access, edit, or delete the dosing and schedule information you've entered, directly within the App - Request a copy of your data by contacting pepcadence@gmail.com - Request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, either through in-app account settings or by emailing us — we will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where we are required to retain certain billing records for legal or tax purposes - Opt out of non-essential email communications at any time via the unsubscribe link - Opt out of text/SMS reminders at any time by replying STOP or adjusting your notification settings — if you opt in to SMS reminders, you do so by separate explicit consent at setup, and standard message/data rates may apply

If you are a resident of California, the EU/UK, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws (CCPA, GDPR, or similar), you may have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of data we hold about you and the right to object to certain processing. Contact us at pepcadence@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

California Privacy Rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA. Because we do not engage in those practices, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" opt-out is required, but California residents may still exercise the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive personal information by contacting pepcadence@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, you may also request information about any disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes — we do not make such disclosures.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.

9. International users

If you access the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
